PARTYING INN

So, I'm throwing my first party tonight while my parents are on a business trip. It's going to be so exciting because all my friends are going to be there, and maybe even my crush who lives across the street with his friends. I've liked him since last November when he and his friends first moved in. Of course, he probably has no idea I exsist or even what my name is. I do know his, however, and the band he's in. His name is and he plays in the band McFly. It's kinda exciting, I think.
"I haven't a clue as to what I should wear tonight!" I exclaimed, going through my closet.
"Something sexy but somewhat classy I reckon. This is your first party," said , one of my best friends ever.
"I want to be noticed though, not blended in the background," I explained as I wrinkled my nose.
"How 'bout this black off-the-shoulder top with a jean mini-skirt?" picked out and held them against my body.
"I don't know," I sighed in frustration.
"Go try it on, anyway. Let's see what it looks like," persisted as she lightly pushed me toward the bathroom.
"I've woren it before," I told her.
"So?"
After another 15 minutes of going through my closet and trying on different clothing, I finally settled on a cream white lacey top and a jean mini-skirt with a few toren details on the pockets. I was quite happy with my light curled hair and my smokey eye make-up with a soft pink gloss on my lips. Guess everything turned out okay.
Around 6:30pm my friends started to show up, but with an extra few of their friends as well. I didn't mind much because it was only 2 or 3 people extra.
"This is going well so far," I smiled at .
"I agree," she replied.
The music was a little too loud, but we had good neighbors. I don't think they would complain about it. Looking around anxiously for , I didn't see him or his friends. I glanced out the front window of the house to see his house lights on, which meant he was at least home. Thought it would be a good idea to knock on their door and tell them about the party.
"Where are you going?" asked as I headed for the door.
"Going across the street for a moment. I'll be right back," I reassured her with a smile.
I left my own party and walked across the black road in my silver heels, which made clicky noises as they hit the ground. When I approached their door, I teased my curls a bit with my fingers before knocking. My nerves ran high as I waited patiently.
A few moments later someone answered the door. My heart raced when I came eye to eye with , the guy I had a huge crush on. I smiled small so I didn't look too dorky or nervous.
"Hi," I managed to say.
"Hi," he replied with a smile in return. "What's going on over there?" asked, nodding towards my house.
"Oh," I looked across the street as if I didn't know what he was talking about, "I'm... I'm-- I'll be right back." I noticed my house was getting wrecked from all the guests throwing things and knocking over the furniture. What was I going to do?
I ran back home as good as I could in my heels and barged through the front door. Why wasn't keeping the guests in order and looking after the party? I was so furious with her at that moment while I was looking for her. I found her in the kitchen yelling at one of the guests about the no alcohol rule, but they weren't listening.
", what's going on?" I asked in a loud tone, trying to get louder than the music that seemed to have gotten louder since I left.
", you're here. I don't know what happened, but everyone just got wild all of a sudden. They've gone mad!" She exclaimed in worry.
"Did more people show up as well?" I glanced around at all the guests, and it seemed like there were a few more people than before.
"Yeah, like 15 just came through the door no longer than a minute ago," sighed, rubbing her forehead.
"This party is getting out of control," I said, wide-eyed.
I could see the worry on and I was just as confused as she was, if not more. We were going out of our minds and didn't know how to make all the people leave before something really bad happened. decided to get up on the table and yell at everyone to leave immediately.
"Will all of you please go home? The party is over!" She repeated for the third time. She turned to me for help.
I shrugged and then walked over to the stereo system to turn off the music. You could hear all the guests awe in disappointment. They started to get a little upset and then slowly turned angry and violent. Some of them were way drunk before they even came into my party.
and I exchanged looks. We were feeling scared and wondered what some of these people could do. One of them was starting to break some of my parents' stuff, like my mother's favorite glass candle holder.
"I'm so dead," I gasped as my eyes got teary.
I couldn't move either. It was like I was scared stiff or glued to the floor. My parents are gonna kill me for throwing a party without their permission while they were away. I didn't know how I was going to explain it to them when they returned the next morning, which was in 5 hours.
Just then I heard a voice shout from the front door, "Club Mint is giving away free beer!" A few seconds later, my house was totally empty. When I looked up and realized who was standing in the doorway, I smiled.
"Um... I better go get some trash bags," smirked as she ran off to the kitchen.
"Thanks," I said shyly.
"You're welcome. It looked like you needed the help," smiled, walking in closer toward me.
"Desparately," I chuckled.
"Yeah," he chuckled too. "So.. you need any help with the clean-up?"
"If you wouldn't mind?" I wrinkled my nose. "I'd really like that."
"Right. So, uh, let me get my mates to help too," said sweetly.
"Okay," I beamed.
"Oh.. my.. God!" I heard squeal from the kitchen and then appearing in the doorway with a knowingly smile.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"He so fancies you," she teased.
"He does not," I replied as my jaw dropped.
"He does. Why else would he come 'round to help clean up?" continued to tease.
"He's being nice, that's all," I said in a soft tone.
"If you say so. I saw the way he was looking at you when he said 'need any help with the clean-up'. He so---" I hushed her up quickly because and his friends were getting closer with trash bins in their hands.
"All right," looked in my eyes. "These are my mates , and ," he added, introducing his friends.
"Hi, I'm and this is ," I greeted in reply.
We all stood awkwardly for a moment before scattering around to clean up the house. It was going to be a long process that we were all dreading, especially me because I didn't want to see what the guests really did break or destroy. I took the living room to clean.
As I was going around picking up all of my parents' belongings, I saw my mum's glass candle holder. I felt so bad about it getting trashed, that I felt like I had actually broken it myself. walked in just then.
"This meant a lot to my mum," I said aloud.
"Really? It's beautiful," said, kneeling down beside me.
"It was beautiful. It was my grandmother's before she died. She gave it to my mum to keep safe for her... and I ruined it," I couldn't help blaming myself.
"It's not your fault. You didn't know those gits would mess up your house," said soothingly. He was so sweet.
"My parents didn't even know I was having a party while they were gone," I managed to half smile and look up at him. "I shouldn't have had the party."
It grew awkward and silent for a bit.
"Why are you here helping me and ?" I wondered.
"I saw how desparately you needed it. I've been to loads of parties and have thrown a few myself. I know how crazy people can get," replied softly.
"But don't you have band rehearsals or better things to do?" I wrinkled my brows as I stuffed trash in the bag.
"No. There's nothing better than this," whispered, leaning in closer to me and pressing his lips against mine gently.
We kissed for a few seconds before his friends and my friend interrupted. Of course, right? We pulled away quickly and pretended like we were cleaning up the mess, but I don't think they bought it.
"Um," shifted her eyes with a smirk.
"All of the other rooms are clean," had a smirk on his face as well. "Not a lot was broken or anything, fortunately."
"Good," I smiled happily.
"We weren't interrupting anything, were we?" teased.
"No," and I answered quickly and awkwardly.
"Need any help?" offered as he snickered.
"Yeah," I nodded as I stood up from the floor. "I'm gonna go put this in my room for a second." Grabbing my mother's candle holder I rushed to my room.
I could hear 's friends teasing on him and stuff as I left. We all continued to clean up the mess and have it finished an hour before my parents came home. I explained to them about what happened and apologized for my bad sense of judgement. I even offered to pay for all the damages from my allowance. Although I was grounded for a month, I finally got to notice me.
