“I want to, insisted. “Besides, this is a bit weird for me.

“Oh.

He grabbed one of the pillows off the bed and a blanket for himself. The bed was all hers now.

“Goodnight, he half-smiled.

“Goodnight, she smiled thinly in return.

waited for to leave the bedroom before she proceeded to change into his t-shirt.

threw the pillow and blanket on the couch, turning off the light with a flick of the switch. He snuggled up, making himself as comfortable as possible. His eyes adjusted to the dark room and his mind began to overflow with thoughts.

It felt like he would never fall asleep.

The room was intense, quiet and suffocating.

“Well, you thought wrong. stormed out of the kitchen just then, and headed off to his bedroom.

“What, this whole situation with ? He questioned, lamely.

“Yeah. rolled his eyes.

“Well sure. But what are we supposed to do? Pretend like she doesn’t exist?
