"Princess, you can't go in there," shouted.

"Shut up, !" said as she pushed through the gates and marched toward her father's office.

ran after , trying to stop her from bothering the King. He was in a very important meeting with the adult fairies and asked to not be disturb for an hour.

"Daddy, you sent them back, didn't you?" exclaimed.

Her father was startled by the sudden interruption. He looked at his daughter with wide eyes.

"I thought you wanted me to figure it out on my own. You never, ever give me a chance. I wasn't going to let the humans hurt Honeyfair, if that's what you thought was going to happen," said angrily.

A group of fairies gasped at the mention of humans, which made realize her father wasn't alone in his office. He was in fact in a meeting. She bit her lip embarrassedly.

"Can we discuss this later?" Her father said firmly.

"What's this about humans, Sir?" Asked a blonde-haired female fairy.

"Oh, it's nothing. My daughter has a silly imagination. Will you excuse me, please?" He said as the other adult fairies nodded.

The King walked out into the hall with his daughter and . He put his hands on her shoulders and stared directly into her eyes.

"I told you to figure out this human problem on your own, and I meant it with all my heart. What is this outburst all about?" He said, his voice deep and raspy, and barely above a whisper.

"I sneezed," blurted.

Her father raised his eyebrow.

"And I know fairies can't sneeze, but I sneezed. Now, the humans are gone and I can't find them anywhere. I think something bad has happened to them," she explained with panic in her voice.

"I can reassure you nothing bad has happened to them," her father said sweetly.

"But how do you know?" sighed.

"You're talking to the King of Honeyfair," he smiled.

"Your father is right," began, "Nothing bad has happened to your human friends," he said.

looked at him questioningly.

"I'm the reason that they're gone," confessed.

"Okay," she said slowly.

"I saw you and that human getting rather close under the large oak tree and I became jealous. You sneezed because I made you, and the humans disappeared because I made them," said shamefully. "I was only trying to protect you, Princess."

"Thanks, but I can take care of myself," said sarcastically. "Besides, you had no right meddling in my business."

", please. Control your temper. didn't mean any harm," her father said calmly.

"I didn't get to say goodbye to them," she informed.

"Well, it's not the end of the world, Princess. Your friends were ugly anyway," sneared.

"Shut up! You didn't even know them," half-shouted.

"Okay, that is enough you two. , please return to the gates. , my dear, let's talk," said her father as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

nodded respectfully and walked away. and her father went for a small walk down the corridor and talked about a few things.

"Dude, that was wicked. Absolutely awesome!" smiled as he entered the dressing room backstage, dropping down on the sofa.

"It was, wasn't it?" said.

"What did you think, ?" tapped 's arm with his hand as he sat down next to him.

"Yeah, yeah. Couldn't have been better," he responded dryly.

"What's wrong with you, mate? Are you okay?" asked with concern.

"I'm fine," said.

"No, you're not. You've been acting a bit weird since we've gotten back. What's the matter?" said, sitting up straight on the couch.

"It's nothing. Don't worry about it."

tried to shrug it off knowing his friends would just make fun of him for feeling so depressed about leaving Honeyfair behind. They enjoyed teasing him, and any chance they got to do so, they took it without hesitation.

"Something's bothering you and we know it," said.

"Are you missing that fairy?" asked smugly.

"Maybe... I don't know... Shut it! Leave me alone," stammered in a soft voice.

Fletch walked in just then, with a huge grin on his face. "Boys, boys, boys. The show was amazing tonight. Great job," he praised.

"Thank you," nodded.

"Alright. Let's get a move on. It's off to the next show," Fletch clapped his hands.

McFLY gathered what little they had of their things in the dressing room and followed Fletch out of the arena to the tour bus at the back of the building. They drove to their hotels where the rest of their things were. When they arrived at the hotel, went to the bar and got himself a beer while the rest of McFLY went to their rooms to start packing.

"Your beer, sir," said the bartender.

"Thanks," half-smiled as he paid for his drink.

He left the bar and headed up to his room. Coming out of the elevator was , who had an overexcited smile on his face.

As walked passed , he whispered, "make sure you get everything."

turned around and looked at with a confused expression. What did he mean exactly? Yes, was known for leaving things behind, like cell phones and keys, but he didn't need reminding this time. Maybe seemed more depressed then he felt and his friends were just looking out for him.

Getting onto the elevator, glanced at the plant where he first saw the sparkly glow, hoping it would be there. He tried to stay hopeful, even though it wasn't there.

He arrived on his floor and headed straight for his hotel room. slipped the key into the door and entered the room aimlessly. The door closed behind him as he tossed the key on the table. He grabbed his suitcase and started to gather all his things, stuffing it in his bag.

Suddenly, a figure came out of the bathroom and caught the corner of 's eye. He thought it was trying to startle him or something. was wrong. He looked up with surprise, his mouth hanging open slightly.

"You're..." he began to stutter, "I mean... hi."

"Hi," smiled, "You like?"

"Yeah. You look beautiful," said, looking her up and down.

did a few spins for him, giggling along the way. The white tank dress she was wearing flowed around her. It was an airy dress with a trendy crinkled gauze construction, crochet details around the waist, V-neck styling and a tiered skirt. Her hair looked crimped, as if it was once wet and dried naturally, with a touch of glitter when the light hit it a certain way; a pair of black peep-toe pumps on her feet.

"How did...? Are you human now? I mean, you're life-size," stammered as he walked toward .

"Well, it's complicated," she said, grinning.

"Complicated? Complicated how?"

The gap between them slowly closed with each step.

"My father has made me human for only a short while. If I can prove to him that humans and fairies can fall in love, I will stay a human forever. If not, my wings will return and I will forever be a fairy," explained flirtatiously.

"Right. And how do you prove this to the King of Honeyfair?" smirked, shoving his hands into his jeans pockets.

"Oh, that's the easy part," she said, "A kiss."

"A kiss? And that's it?" raised his eyebrows.

"Yep; all I need is a simple kiss," said as she brushed a strand of hair from her eyes.

gently gripped that hand and pulled closer to him. He placed his other hand on her face and gently caressed it with his thumb. They stared into each other's eyes before leaning in closer for a kiss. As their lips touched, a shimmery sparkle surrounded . The spell has been broken and she was now a human.

Pulling away from the kiss, and exchanged a smile. He glanced down at their feet and noticed the black pumps. He began to chuckle.

"I thought you said shoes were odd," he said.

"Well, these aren't so bad," bit her lip, leaning in for another kiss.

Their kiss deepened as ran his fingers through 's hair. The love between a human and a fairy, proven.

THE END.
