"I really don't wanna go," whined , while being dragged by her best friend, .

"Oh, come on! It's not going to be that bad. Honestly," said , as her and her friend proceeded up the driveway to the front door.

People in Halloween costumes ran passed them to the door, entering anxiously into the house where music was playing and people were having a good time.

"I look ridiculous in this costume, though," complained, pulling on her bloody ripped wedding dress.

"Shut up! You look great!" said with a smile. "Besides, no one will even recognize you with all that fake blood and bullet pieces on your face," she added, lightly touching her friend's face.

"Whatever. Let's just get this over with, okay?" pleaded as she pushed 's hand away. "I barely know anyone here," she then murmured.

and entered the house overwhelmed with two dozen people or so just standing around dancing or chatting with one another.

"Hey, you turned up," greeted , approaching the two girls.

"Yeah, wouldn't miss it for anything," replied, grinning as she stared into his eyes.

flashed her a big smile showing off his vampire teeth. giggled while touching the fake blood dripping down his lip onto his chin.

"Come on. I wanna show you something," said , gripping 's hand. "You don't mind if I steal her for a bit, do you?" He asked as he turned to face .

"Oh no, are you kidding? Go right ahead," said, trying not to sound bothered.

"Great. Come on, then," beamed, eagerly pulling by the hand.

"Yeah, I don't mind being all by my lonesome self," muttered through clenched teeth, waving to as she disappeared into the kitchen.

glanced around at her surroundings and spotted a sofa off to the left a little ways. She walked over to it to find a couple making out on it. She made a disgusted expression as she cringed while sitting down beside them. turned her head away to avoid watching and getting sick by the "public display of grossness" as she put it.

A couple minutes later a pirate kneeled down in front of her, with the whole eye patch and mustache ensemble. flinched from being slightly startled.

"Hey, told me you were here," said the pirate with a smile.

"And you know me... how?" raised her eyebrows.

"When comes 'round here, she tells us about you," they replied, resting their arm up on the arm of the sofa.

'So much for not being recognized,' thought to herself. "Oh. And you are?"

", a mate of 's," he said, extending his hand.

shook his hand hesitantly forcing a happy smile.

"You're , right?" asked.

"Yeah," she said slowly.

"Well, do you wanna dance?" He offered his hand.

"Uh, no thanks," refused, wrinkling her nose and shaking her head.

"Do you want a beer? I can get you a beer."

"No, I don't drink," she said quickly.

"All right. You want me to get you some crisps, pretzels, cheese puffs, cook---"

"No thanks," she interrupted firmly, "I'm fine. Really."

"Right. Yeah, okay. Sorry," said softly, backing off from her and walking away.

let out a heavy sigh, making her cheeks fill with air slightly. She sat on the sofa for about a minute before standing to her feet. She made an annoyed face at the couple still making out before going to find the restroom.

After returning from the restroom, walked over to the snack table and grabbed a handful of crisps. She ate a few before she felt someone standing behind her. She moved slightly but they followed.

"I thought you were fine," said a voice.

"What?" She questioned, wrinkling her face.

"I offered you food like, five minutes ago," smirked, then took a sip from his plastic cup.

"Oh. Well, got hungry.. so call out a lawsuit if you will," said sarcastically, shrugging her shoulders lightly.

"Pshh," rolled his eyes while trying to hold back a smile. "You know, my offer still stands for that dance," he persisted, smiling.

"Yeah," she said plainly, shifting her eyes.

"Just letting you know," he beamed, taking another sip from his cup.

They stood beside one another not saying a word, but could tell what was thinking. He kept looking at her and smiling, and looking at the people dancing. She knew he wanted her to cave in and dance with him, so she let out a grunt and threw back the crisps in the bowl.

"Let's dance," said, irritated as she pulled on his arm.

"Wow. Thank you, . I never thought you'd suggest such a thing," joked with a laugh. He quickly sat down his cup on the table before being completely dragged.

rolled her eyes.

When they started dancing, came over and tugged on 's arm then whispered, "We need to chat." smiled at as she pulled her friend away. The two girls walked just a few feet from him and began chatting amoung themselves. just stood in awkwardness as he waited patiently for to return.

The girls soon walked off with still standing where he was when he was dancing.

"Hey. Hey, ," shouted through the music as he gently grabbed 's arm.

"Hey," she beamed.

"Hi. Um... do you know where went? Haven't seen her in over a half hour," said into her ear.

"Oh, yeah. She's out by the garden," answered as she flashed him a small smile.

"Great, thanks," he returned the gesture, and then headed out the back door to find Amber.

When stepped out the back door, he spotted straight away and approached her slowly. She had her back to him, looking up into the sky; it was gloomy and a few flashes of lighting stung through the grey clouds.

"Hey," greeted softly.

turned around. "Oh, hi," she smiled.

"What're you doin' out here?" He asked with curiosity.

"Had to get away from the party. Getting a bit too much for me," replied, gripping her plastic cup with both hands.

"Not a party person I suppose," he said questionly with a light laugh.

"Yeah, I'm not," she said, shrugging her shoulders slightly and shaking her head. "Whoa! Did you just see that?" exclaimed as she quickly looked up into the sky.

"Nah, I'm afraid I missed it," responded, nearing her as he glanced up.

"Well, thought I saw something black fly pass," she informed softly, turning around to find quite close to her.

"Oh," he smirked as he looked down into her eyes.

and stared at one another while moving in closer toward each other's lips, when the power suddenly went out all around the house. They pulled back in a startle and watched as the people inside scattered all around, several leaving out the front door.

"What the hell?" murmured. He and exchanged looks before going inside to find their mates.

They met up in the kitchen where grabbed a few flashlights from the drawer. All that had stayed now were and . Of course, Tom, Harry, Danny and Dougie had stayed; it was their house.

"Why did everyone just leave?" Asked , raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know. Guess they thought the party was over due to the power going out," replied, flipping the switch on the flashlights.

"I'm gonna go see what I can find. I'll meet up with you guys in a few," informed as he took a flashlight from 's hand.

"Okay," chorused everyone.

"This is kind of creepy," said , shivering with fear and nervousness.

"Don't worry, we're all here," smiled reassuringly.

A few minutes had gone by, when a scream came from outside. A figure appeared in the doorway holding onto their arm. Everyone's body jumped as they looked in the direction of the door. The figure came closer to them in a limp and groaning in pain. and huddled together with the other three boys surrounding them protectively.

then shined his light at the figure's face. It was , who squinted his eyes to avoid the stinging light. and sighed in relief.

"There's someone out there," said in a shaky tone of voice.

"What happened?" Asked , noticing his bloody arm.

"I don't know. Someone attacked me out there with something. Oh, it hurts so badly," replied , with an expression full of pain as he released his grip from his arm.

"Ohmygosh! Look at it. You've lost a lot of blood," gasped, nearing carefully observing the wound, which appeared to be a stab wound.

"I'm feeling light-headed," reported as his eyes rolled up into his head.

"Come on. Help me get him over to the couch," said worriedly, wrapping his arm around her neck for support as she began walking in that specific direction.

and came around to her and helped take to the couch to lie down for a bit. had gone into the kitchen to get a towel and some water while went to the closet for a blanket. They both returned to the others and started helping feel better, and stop the bleeding before he lost anymore.

"I'll go get another towel," announced, getting up from being kneeled down beside the couch and going into the kitchen.

", we're going to help you, okay? So stay with us," said softly, ripping the sleeve off 's costume.

Just then the sound of silver-ware hitting the floor came from the kitchen.

"," muttered apprehensively as she ran to check on him. soon followed.

gasped when she found on his back lying on the floor. He had blood all over him and was gasping for air intensely.

"What's going on?" murmured, running her fingers through her hair fearfully. ", what's going on?" She asked, turning to look at who had just walked in.

"I don't know. We probably should get out of here," he replied with nervousness in his eyes.

bent down to and propped his head up on her legs. He coughed and gasped for more air. began to get teary-eyed and took the towel from his hand, to soak up some of the blood from the wound on his chest near his lungs.

At that moment, when glanced at 's face, he had sat up and kissed her on the lips. She pushed away quickly with a shocked expression on her face as laughed hysterically. A revolting scream came from the living room just then.

", you jerk!" exclaimed , disgustedly.

"Smile girls," smirked , with the video camera in his hand. He had filmed the entire rescue scene with and Harry. The camera was sat on the entertainment center filming the whole thing. There was even a camera in the kitchen filming everything as well.

"I can't believe you guys did something so... mean," said, pushing away as he tried to put his arm around her shoulder.

The boys were laughing hysterically with tears burning in their eyes. It was the best Halloween prank they had ever pulled on anyone and it was all caught on film.
