"This totally sucks! I didn't even do anything wrong and they're giving me detention," whined in her cell phone to her friend while entering the school building.
"Well, just go and get it over with," said in a sweet tone.
"I wanted to go shopping with you though," said as she walked down the halls.
"Don't worry about it. We'll go shopping some other time," replied sympathetically.
"Miss , off the phone please," Mr. Torten said firmly when entered the classroom.
She rolled her eyes. "All right. I'm getting in trouble while in detention, so I'll talk to you later," said, irritated.
"Okay," chuckled.
"Bye," sighed and then hung up.
"Take a seat," Mr. Torten demanded gently.
"Whatever," she murmured, taking off her coat.
There was already one student in the room sat in a desk in the back of the class room. He glanced up with his eyes and watched as took her seat. A few more students walked in a couple of seconds later, looking just as annoyed as she did.
Three of the boys who walked in after joined the lonely one at the desk.
"Okay. Detention is not fun, but it is, however, a time for you lot to think about your wrongs," began Mr. Torten, "I want to see progress at the end of the detention period in an hour," he finished before walking out of the classroom slowly.
He will return every five minutes to check up on the students making sure they were still in the room, or if they needed anything, such as the bathroom.
*Five minutes later...
"Is everyone all right?" Mr. Torten asked.
"Yeah," chorused the students in different voice tones.
"Great! Um, I'm going to go 'round to the classroom trailers and get a few papers. I'll only be gone a couple short minutes so... please, stay seated until I return and then I will let you use the bathroom's if you have to," he explained rather calmly.
Heads nodded and faint responses replied to what Mr. Torten had just announced. He nodded quickly before swiftly exiting the room and closing the door behind him.
"Damn, this sucks!" exclaimed Harry Judd, who sunk himself in the hard plastic chair.
"I hope he comes back soon," said , "I really need to use the loo," she giggled as she blushed slightly.
laughed lightly as glanced over at her with a smile.
"I shouldn't even be here," mumbled, sinking in her chair.
"We all shouldn't be here, love," Harry scowled.
"Right," she glared rudely in return as she turned around in her chair to look Harry in the eyes.
He sat ten desks behind her beside his friends, , and . All wanted to do was go out shopping with and pretend like detention never happened, especially having to be in a confined classroom with Harry Judd, the most popular cricket player in their school. He was your typical jock, with that cocky attitude.

"Where the hell is Mr. Torten?" shouted with a heavy sigh.
"I don't know; it's been way over fifteen minutes," said , looking up at the big round clock on the wall.
"Don't even think I can hold it in much longer," squirmed in her chair.
"Well, we can't just stay here and see her burst," smirked jokingly.
"Stop! It's killing me to laugh," exclaimed , trying not to laugh.
"You're going to have to just go to the bathroom anyway," said, shrugging her shoulders.
"But Mr. Torten told us to stay here until he got back," pointed out innocently.
"So you always do what others tell you?" Harry raised his eyebrow.
"No, not always. In this case I do, because we're in detention," replied , turning around to look at him as well.
"I think in this case I'll do the same 'cause I really gotta go," said as she stood from her chair.
Just then the lights went off in the classroom as well as in the hallway.
"What the hell?" said, looking around with confusion.
"What happened to the lights?" asked, standing to his feet.
"I haven't a clue," replied as she looked at her surroundings, although she could barely see in the dark in the first place.
"Not now," whined.
got up from his seat and walked slowly to the door and flipped the light switch up and down. "The powers out," he told everyone.
"We know, you idiot," laughed.
"We need to find a flashlight or something," said, ignoring 's remark.
"Maybe there's one in Mr. Torten's desk drawer," suggested as her and walked over to the desk, being as careful as they could to not bump into anything.
Suddenly, the backup lights turned on in the hallways, which a little light shined into the classroom through the window in the door. sighed in relief as the others looked up.
"Okay, I'm going this time," said as she approached the door and swung it open.
"Someone's gotta go with her," said wide-eyed.
"I'll go," agreed before walking out of the room.
"Me too," said softly as he followed.
"We can all sit back down now, I guess," Harry sat down in one of the desks in the front row.
"No, we need to find the power box as the backup lights could go out any minute now," disagreed, glancing at and then .
"Well, I'm staying put," Harry said, leaning back in the chair and resting his hands behind his head.
"You're real lazy, did you know that?" said in disgust.
Harry made kissy sounds and puckered his lips at her. just shook her head and looked away rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"So, where do we find the power box?" She asked, bringing her attention to .
"Um... I wasn't really meaning us. We should find Mr. Torten to clear up this mess," answered gently.
"Okay, let's go find him then," said as he started to leave the room.
followed and then , who was leaving slowly hoping Harry would come along as well. He did, but reluctantly and annoyed.

"Jeez, how long does it take for one to pee?" sighed, banging her head back on the wall gently.
Her and stood out in the hallway by the bathrooms waiting for to come out. sat on the floor against the wall playing with his shoelace and stood with her back against the wall. She sighed impatiently as she began to pace around.
"Go in there and see if she's okay," said, looking up at .
"No! I don't wanna find her dead or something," exclaimed , cracking a small smile.
laughed and continued to play with his shoelace.
Humming beautifully, came walking out of the bathroom in a happy mood. "Ahhh!" She screamed when she saw and . "Ohmygosh! You guys scared me," said, grabbing her chest where her heart was racing.
"Sorry," said between breaths. " wanted us to follow you," she added.
"Oh. Well, thanks. I didn't need someone to hold my hand while I went to the bathroom, though," smirked gently.
"I know, but I guess she wanted us to all stick together," smiled.
"Where are the others anyway?" Asked , raising an eyebrow.
"I think they're in the classroom," replied as he got up off the floor.
"We should get back. I'm sure they're wondering where we are," suggested as she began to walk ahead of the two; they followed soon after.

"They're locked! Every single door is locked," said sadly, leaning back on the wall and sliding down to the floor.
"Oooh, boo-woo," Harry mocked sarcastically.
made a face at him before covering her face with her hands. She sighed heavily while thinking of how great her afternoon could've been if she didn't get detention. looked down at her knowingly and sat beside her on the floor.
"Don't worry about it," he said soothingly as he rubbed her shoulder.
"Oh really? How exactly are we going to get out of here?" asked firmly, looking up from her hands.
"Well, I don't know... but we'll get out of here," tried to seem positive.
"Mr. Torten has to be coming back for us. He couldn't have forgotten us and gone off home," said as his eyes shifted a bit.
", you're not helping," chuckled; 's head dropping into her hands again.

"Where are they?" asked in frustration.
"They might've gone to get Mr. Torten," said, sitting herself down in the teacher's chair.
shot a glare as if to say 'yeah, right' without actually saying it in words.
"Maybe?" questioned, uncomfortably.
"I should've just gone to P.E.; none of this would've happened then," sighed, sitting down on top of a desk.
"Is that why you're here?" asked curiously.
"Yes," she answered in a shameful tone.

, , Harry and walked down the hallways to return to the classroom. They figured there was nothing they could do to get Mr. Torten or to get out of school, with the teacher outside and the doors locked shut.
Walking, the four of them passed a door. It caught 's attention and he started tapping everyone on the shoulder eagerly.
"A janitor's closet," he beamed.
"Yeah... so?" said bluntly.
"There might be the keys to open the doors," explained, wide-eyed. He turned the doorknob and tugged on the door. Surprisingly, it opened right up.
The four frustrated teens entered the confined room slowly and began looking around for keys, or anything that could help them fix what seemed like a bad situation.
While and looked over on one end, and Harry found some keys on a metal shelf and grinned at each other cheekily. They slipped out of the room and closed the door, locking it behind them and leaving and completely confused.
"Guys, what's going on?" shouted, knocking on the door.
"I can't see anything," said softly, trying to keep her balance in the dark room.
and Harry just laughed hysterically as they walked away to leave the two in peace. , and met up with them in the hallway around the corner.
"What are you laughing about?" asked, smirkingly.
"Nothing. Come on," Harry squeeked, holding back laughter.
", where are you? I can't see a-- Ow!" As tried to look out in front of her, 's head collided in to hers. He started to laugh.
"Get away from me," she shouted angrily, pushing in the stomach.
"Hey," he chuckled.
"We need to find a light in here," said, feeling out in front of her with her hands.
"I kind of fancy the dark. It's sexy, don't you think?" said flirtatiously. He got closer to Amber again and pressed his body against hers.
"Stop being a butthole like Harry," she pushed away.
"Harry is not an asshole," defended offensively.
"Oh, so you are then?" smirked, although he couldn't see.
"No... no," he exclaimed as he shook his head. "I fancy you... and Harry does as well," confessed.
"It's nice the way he shows his feelings," she replied sarcastically.
"He's trying to make you hate him so that you'll give me a chance and not him," explained softly.
was speechless and didn't know where to look, so she looked down as her heart raced and her mouth turned dry.
"I know; it's a strange, shitty thing to do but..." said , his voice tone lowering towards the end.
swallowed before pushing passed over to the door. "We need to get out of here. I'm not feeling so well," she said as she tugged and pushed eagerly on the doorknob.
"You fancy him as well... don't you?" asked slowly.
huffed, turning around and leaning her back against the door. "No," she replied in a shaky tone.
"How convincing," he rolled his eyes sarcastically.
"Where are you?" whispered.
"Uh.. right here," said confusingly.
"Come here," she reached out for him.
neared her, finding her hand along the way and holding it in his own. took her free hand and brushed it on his shoulder to his face, where she then touched his bottom lip with her thumb. She leaned in closer and pressed her lips against his softly. He wrapped both his arms around her and pulled her in towards him as they backed into the door.
started to unbutton her sweater and pull it off her shoulder. They deepened the kiss, leaning against the door a bit more. lifted the bottom of his shirt as he ran his fingers through her hair. Then suddenly, the janitor door swung wide open, sending and to the floor; him on top of her.
, , Harry, and stood in giggles watching the two blushing on the floor. They swiftly picked themselves up and tried to button up her sweater and fix her hair.

"So, why are we all in here?" asked, curious to what the reasons were for each of them being in detention.
"We already know tried to get out of P.E. too many times," smiled.
"What's your reason?" smirked, turning all eyes on him.
"I was caught cheating on an exam," he said cheekily.
"Pissed off my maths teacher," Harry answered in satisfaction.
"Threw a football at one," bursted into laughter, raising his hand.
"I corrected my English teacher," giggled as she blushed.
"Wrote too many songs during class," said , half smiling.
When the laughter died down, everyone turned their attention at . She hadn't said her reason yet and they were all curious to know. It had to be just as silly and stupid as theirs, otherwise she wouldn't be in detention. looked at them innocently and questioningly.
"Why are you here?" smirked, raising his eyebrows at her flirtatiously.
"Um, I was on the cell phone during lunch," said with her fingers linked together, resting on top of the desk she was sitting at. "Can you believe it? I got detention for talking on the phone while I ate," she continued and then began to laugh a little.
"Looks like this whole thing was ridiculous - detention and getting locked in," half-smiled.
Just then all the lights flickered back on and they heard footsteps in the hall. Mr. Torten appeared in the doorway with a smile.
"So, how's the progress in here?" He smirked knowingly.
