Today is the day we’ve been waiting for. The day that we’ll never forget. The day that our children, someday, will be told about. The day our family and friends will get together and celebrate our love. The day that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
I rolled over wanting to see a sleeping body next to me, the one that would be all mine in the matter of hours, but there was nothing there. Instead, I found a note with my name scribbled on the front.

We have kidnapped . Don’t worry, he is safe. We’re just carrying on the tradition of the bride and groom not seeing each other until the ceremony and all that rubbish. I would’ve had write this but he is currently blindfolded and has tape over his mouth. I’m sure he sends his love though. The party the last night was a blast! I left some medicine on the table if you have a hangover, we don’t want to bride to be sick on her wedding day! Anyways, have a fun day getting ready and we’ll see you at the altar!

I laughed, getting out of bed and walking into my kitchen. I noticed fuzzy handcuffs sitting on the counter, and giggled remembering my bachelorette party last night. Well, the parts I could remember. I only had a few drinks…
It started out pretty normal. We were waiting for our shuttle to come and pick us up and take us to the club. When the doorbell finally rang, I ran to open it to find , , , and dressed as policemen. I asked them what they were doing but they just replied with a simple “You’re under arrest� and pulled me back into the house.
The whole night was spent with drinks, laughter, and a lot of clothes being thrown places. Turns out instead of hiring real male strippers, thought it would be a good idea just to have the guys do it. I think they had been practicing, because they had me pretty convinced. I made them stop once they got down to their underwear though, since it might’ve been a little awkward seeing my fiancé and his friends naked together, the day before I got married. continued the show in our bedroom later that night however…
I slumped into a kitchen chair and pulled a banana out of the fruit basket. I started to peel it when I got a sick feeling in my stomach. I decided to skip on breakfast, since I didn’t want to feel even sicker the whole day. I’d eat later. I looked at the clock and realized my bridesmaids would be at my house to pick me up in about 15 minutes, so I ran upstairs and got dressed.
My doorbell rang soon after, and the girls just let themselves in. We were spending the day at the spa getting ready, then to the church where the make-up and hair people would make us all look amazing. I walked downstairs where , , and were standing in the entryway of my house with smiles plastered on their faces.
“So?� said, excitedly.
“So, what?� I asked confused.
“Are you excited for the best day of your life?� said.
“Of course I am! My stomach is in knots, but I think it’s just the nerves.� I said clutching my stomach.
“I got some antacids in the car, we gotta go though!� said, waving me towards the door, “We should be done at the spa after about 2 hours, then we’ll be at the church at three o’clock. What time does the ceremony start again ?�
“Seven o’clock.�
“Good, that gives us plenty of time to get ready if something goes wrong.�
“What do you mean if something goes wrong!?� I said, horrified.
“Don’t worry, I just mean if you have to re-do your hair or hem your dress or something. No big deal, I promise.� she said, reassuringly.
“Okay,� I said unsure, “Let’s go! I’m dying for my massage!� We left my house and got into ’s car and head for a wonderful day at the spa for my last hours as a single woman.
Three o’clock was coming close, and we were just getting dressed in the locker room after getting our massages. We thanked the masseuses and headed back to car to go to the church to get ready.
“You girls are the best!� I said hugging each , , and .
“Don’t thank us,� said.
“Yeah, it’s your big day! You deserve it!� added.
“I appreciate it guys. There are no other girls I’d rather have as my bridesmaids!� I said tearing up.
“Aw ! Don’t cry! This is a happy day!� said hugging me.
“I’m just so happy. I mean, I get to marry the love of my life today, and I get to do it with all my best friends.� I said as tears slowly ran down my face. I know I was getting too emotional, but anyone would one their wedding day. I have never been so in love in my life, and now I get to spend the rest of my life with him, . I’ll be in the matter of hours.
“? You ready to go?� asked.
“Huh? Oh yeah, let’s go.� I said getting in the car. My stomach lurched forward as soon as we got onto the highway, “? Can I have those antacids now?�
We pulled up to the church and rushed inside to find my mother, ’s mother, and his sister waiting for us.
“I can’t believe my baby’s getting married!� my mom said giving me a hug.
“I can’t believe she’s marrying my baby! Who would’ve guessed?� ’s mom said smiling and also giving me a hug after my mom finally pulled away.
“I can’t believe it either.� I said, “But I really need to use the restroom before I’m in my dress, I wouldn’t want to ruin it!� I ran down the hallway into the ladies bathroom and continued to be sick for about 10 minutes. What was wrong with me?
“Is she okay?� my mom asked the girls.
“She’s been saying she hasn’t felt well all day� said.
“We gave her some antacids a few hours ago, but I guess it didn’t help.� said.
“I hope she’s okay, maybe I should go check on her?� my mom said starting to go down the hall.
“No!� ’s mom cried.
“What?� my mom asked, confused.
“Uh, I mean, do you think I could do it? I want to talk to her, is that okay?�
“Yes, of course! Go on!�
I had just flushed the toilet, and gotten up from my crouched spot on the floor when I head someone come in, “?�
“In here,� I said unlocking the stall and walking out, ‘?�
“Are you okay dear? I don’t want you to be ill on your big day!� she said putting an arm around my shoulder.
“I don’t know, I’ve been like this all day. I feel a little better now though.� I said washing my hands.
“Okay. Well, I wanted to give you something.� She said rummaging through her bag. She pulled out a small box and handed it to me. I open it to find a silver chain with a small silver heart locket at the end. The front said ‘Always and Forever.’ I opened it to see one picture of and I when we were children, and one that was taken only a few weeks ago.
“, it’s beautiful. You didn’t have to!� I gushed, hugging her.
“I figured it could count as ‘something new.’ You know, the bride tradition?�
“There are so many of those!� I laughed, “Thank you so much. I love it.� I said trying to put it on. took it and helped me. We exited the bathroom and joined the rest of the girls to start getting ready.
“Are you going to be okay?� said as we walked to the dressing room. We were a few feet behind the rest of the group, because I had to ask a favor.
“I think so. Hey, can you do something for me?�
“Yeah. No problem, what is it?� she said looking at me.
“Can you go get a-� I started.
“! Ronald is going to do your hair first!� my mom called from inside the room.
“Ugh, nevermind. I’ll tell you later,� I said entering the room to get my hair done.
Three hours later, we were all ready. I just needed to get my dress and I’d be set. My hair was gathered up and back in loose twists and pinned into place, with the ends left free. I didn’t want anything too fancy, just laid-back but still pretty.
I wanted my make-up to have the ‘natural’ look, so it look like I wasn’t wearing any at all. Once I was done, I stepped behind the screen to put my dress on. I looked in the mirror one last time befote stepping out.
“, you look,� my mom started.
“Breathtaking.� finished.
I had chosen a simple white dress. It was silk and strapless, with laces on the back that tied down into a bow, I had a small train in the back, which I had to practice walking in so I wouldn’t trip.
I went over to the mirror and my mom placed my tiara in my hair and helped me put the locket on. I stepped up on the podium that had mirrors all around it and did a little spin for everyone.
“You look amazing .� said.
“You really do.� and added.
“You guys look great too!� I said looking at the bridesmaid’s dresses I had picked out. They were knee-length ruby red silk, to go along with the color scheme. They had small straps with a v-neckline, and a wrap-around at the waist. They also were wearing simple silver shoes, which were the same ones that I was wearing under my dress.
“Is here yet?� I asked, remember I havn’t heard from, or about him all day.
“Yes, him and the boys arrived about an hour ago.� said.
Just then, the door opened, and popped his head inside.
“You guys can’t be in here!� I shouted.
“’s not with me! Promise!� he said in defense.
“Fine! You can come in.� I said as he walked in and shut the door behind him.
“Wow, , you look amazing.�
“You clean up nicely yourself.� I said inspecting his attire. All the men had the same thing on. Simple black slacks, a vest, with a white shirt underneath, and a bowtie, with nice black shoes.
didn’t want the wedding to be over-done just because of his ‘celebrity’ status. That’s why I loved him so much. He didn’t care about all the special treatments, or buying the best or most expensive. He just wanted to live his life doing what he loved to do with the people he loved the most.
“How’s doing?� I asked.
“Nervous, but he’s okay. Did you get my note this morning?� he said smiling.
“Yeah,� I laughed, “It was cute�

“Thanks guys, I couldn’t do this without you. We probably wouldn’t even have been here right now if you guys hadn’t convinced to talk to me when we were fighting. I don’t know what I would’ve done without your help.�
“That’s what mates are for man.� said.
“Well, I guess this is it. The last time we’ll be together as all single men� said grabbing his jacket and walking out to the ceremony room with the guys.
“I have to go now, . The guests are all here, so I should get out there now. Good luck, and I know you’ll be happy.� My mom said before giving me a quick kiss and exiting the room. ’s mom gave me a hug before following her out into the ceremony room. Soon after, the girls had to go meet up with the guys to line-up for the ceremony.

How did she know? I didn’t even know myself. I was guessing it happened when me and made up, I hadn’t had my monthy visit for over a month now.

The door opened and all the faces turned to look at me, but I was only searching for one. I looked straight down the aisle and saw a beaming standing with his hands in front of him. I caught his eye and his grin grew even more. A big smile danced it’s way onto my face, as I started down the aisle with my dad.
When I finally got to the front my dad gave me one last kiss before giving me away to . I looked back and my mom and ’s mom were both already crying. I turned back and smiled at .
“Hi,� I whispered.
“Hello beautiful.� He smiled.
“Ready?� I asked.
“Of course,� he said taking my hand as we stepped up to where the minister was waiting with a smile on his face, “Dearly beloved, we are assembled here in the presence of family and friends to celebrate the joining of this man and this woman in the unity of marriage. There are no obligations on earth sweeter or tender than those you are about to assume. There are no vows more solemn than those you are about to make. There is no human institution more sacred than that of the home you are about to form. True marriage is the holiest of all earthly relationships. The state of matrimony is based in this deep, invisible union of two souls who seek to find completion in one another.�
When we finally got to the vows, my stomach started feeling sick again. and I decided to write personal vows instead of the traditional ones. The minister asked me to recite mine. I got out my scrap of paper I wrote it on and began,
“I, , choose you as my best friend, my love for life. I promise you my deepest love, my fullest devotion, my tenderest care, through the pressures of the present and the uncertainties of the future, I promise to be faithful to you. I promise to love you, to commit to you, and support you. I pledge to respect your unique talents and abilities, to lend you strength for all of your dreams. You have shown me what love feels like and for that I thank you. You are everything I need, and at this moment I know all of my prayers have been answered and that all of my dreams have come true. I hope I can help you fulfill the rest of your dreams with your band, and I’ll be there along with you the whole way, I love you more than anyone or anything can explain, more than word’s can verbalize.�

I smiled at as he whispered I love you and leaning in to give me a passionate kiss. The guests applauded and cheered. I pulled away to look over at my family. Even my brother, who always so tough, was tearing up. I looked back at and smiled for the millionth time that day. We took eachothers hands and made our way back down the aisle. Once we got out of the ceremont room I flung my arms around him and he spun me around.
“I can’t believe it! I’m now!� I smiled.
“I know. I’d hav it no other way!� he said smiling back and kissing me. We went into the room where I had gotten ready at while the reception was being set up. I went into the bath room to fix my make-up from all the crying when I notice a small white stick sitting on the counter with flashing words on the front.
“Hey , we don’t have very long!� he shouted from the room.
“I’ll be done in a second.� I picked up the stick, looked at it, and threw it away. I walked back in the room where was sitting in a chair waiting for me. I sat on his lap as he wrapped his arms around me.
“You’re all mine now!� he said, kissing my neck.
“Yeah, so is the little one.�
“I get you forever and eve- Hey what did you say?�
“I said the little one is yours too.� I smiled.
“You mean?� he said wide-eyed.
I nodded my heard and grinned.
“I’m going to be a daddy!!� he said, “Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Oh I’m so happy right now, this day could get any better!�
I laughed, “I just found out. I’ve been sick all morning, and picked me up a test. I took it before the wedding, but I didn’t have time to wait for the results.�

We got up and walked into the hall way and to the door where we would be presented as husband and wife and have the reception.

We took our seats and let the festivities begin. We had our first dance, to a slower version of ‘Baby’s Coming Back’ that had re-recorded just for the wedding. I danced with my dad, and ’s dad. danced with his mom, and my mom. We did the traditional wedding games including when took my gaudier off my leg with his teeth, and the bouquet throwing, caught it. I told now he had to propose to her now, and he said he was planning to soon anyway. Basically the whole night went amazing. It was time for the best man and maid of honor speeches. was going first.
“ boy. I can’t believe you got hitched!� everyone laughed, “No, seriously. I’ve known you since I was 15 and I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend. I’m not going to go into a big heartfelt speech, but I just want to let you know that you and are perfect for eachother, and ?� he said looking at me, “Keep an eye on him! Make sure he stays out of trouble! Especially whe you come on tour with us all the time now, I don’t want to babysit him anymore!� I nodded and laughed, “Good luck you guys, in life, love, and everything else. I love you guys. “ and I have an annoucement to make!� he said smiling. I caught on and grinned, and stood up next to him, “We found out some exciting news before the reception� he smilied. Everyone looked at us eagerly as I grabbed ’s hand.
“I’m pregnant!� I half-shouted, smiling like crazy. There was a look of shock that went across the guests, but then an eruption of applause and cheering soon followed. I looked at and she winked, and just smiled. My parents and ’s parents rushed over to us hugging us and talking about how excited they were to be grandparents.
This day had gone just as planned. Well, I guess they’re were a few surprises, but good ones. I was ready to start my life with the man I loved. I was going to a place I always wanted to, I was going to be a mommy with a man who was exstatic about the idea of being a daddy. This day was just too perfect.

I went over to the mirror and my mom placed my tiara in my hair and helped me put the locket on. I stepped up on the podium that had mirrors all around it and did a little spin for everyone.
“You look amazing .� said.
“You really do.� and added.
“You guys look great too!� I said looking at the bridesmaid’s dresses I had picked out. They were knee-length ruby red silk, to go along with the color scheme. They had small straps with a v-neckline, and a wrap-around at the waist. They also were wearing simple silver shoes, which were the same ones that I was wearing under my dress.
“Is here yet?� I asked, remember I havn’t heard from, or about him all day.
“Yes, him and the boys arrived about an hour ago.� said.
Just then, the door opened, and popped his head inside.
“You guys can’t be in here!� I shouted.
“’s not with me! Promise!� he said in defense.
“Fine! You can come in.� I said as he walked in and shut the door behind him.

“You clean up nicely yourself.� I said inspecting his attire. All the men had the same thing on. Simple black slacks, a vest, with a white shirt underneath, and a bowtie, with nice black shoes.

“Well, I guess this is it. The last time we’ll be together as all single men� said grabbing his jacket and walking out to the ceremony room with the guys.
“I have to go now, . The guests are all here, so I should get out there now. Good luck, and I know you’ll be happy.� My mom said before giving me a quick kiss and exiting the room. ’s mom gave me a hug before following her out into the ceremony room. Soon after, the girls had to go meet up with the guys to line-up for the ceremony.

How did she know? I didn’t even know myself. I was guessing it happened when me and made up, I hadn’t had my monthy visit for over a month now.

I guess it was kind of obvious. I went into the bathroom quickly and came out when I heard the door open and my dad came in with a smile on his face, “You look great ,�

“I love you Daddy� I said as he linked his arms through mine. I heard the music start to play as my nerves kicked into high gear. The door opened and all the faces turned to look at me, but I was only searching for one. I looked straight down the aisle and saw a beaming standing with his hands in front of him. I caught his eye and his grin grew even more. A big smile danced it’s way onto my face, as I started down the aisle with my dad.
When I finally got to the front my dad gave me one last kiss before giving me away to . I looked back and my mom and ’s mom were both already crying. I turned back and smiled at .
“Hi,� I whispered.
“Hello beautiful.� He smiled.
“Ready?� I asked.
“Of course,� he said taking my hand as we stepped up to where the minister was waiting with a smile on his face, “Dearly beloved, we are assembled here in the presence of family and friends to celebrate the joining of this man and this woman in the unity of marriage. There are no obligations on earth sweeter or tender than those you are about to assume. There are no vows more solemn than those you are about to make. When we finally got to the vows, my stomach started feeling sick again. and I decided to write personal vows instead of the traditional ones. The minister asked me to recite mine. I got out my scrap of paper I wrote it on and began,

You have shown me what love feels like and for that I thank you. You are everything I need, and at this moment I know all of my prayers have been answered and that all of my dreams have come true. I hope I can help you fulfill the rest of your dreams with your band, and I’ll be there along with you the whole way, I love you more than anyone or anything can explain, more than word’s can verbalize.�
There was a small clap as I looked into ’s piercing eyes. I say tears starting to form in his eyes, but they were pulled away as the minister told him it was his turn,

We exchanged rings and then we heard the words we had been wating to here, “I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.�
I smiled at as he whispered I love you and leaning in to give me a passionate kiss. The guests applauded and cheered. I pulled away to look over at my family. Even my brother, who always so tough, was tearing up. I looked back at and smiled for the millionth time that day. We took eachothers hands and made our way back down the aisle. Once we got out of the ceremont room I flung my arms around him and he spun me around.
“I can’t believe it! I’m now!� I smiled.
“I know. I’d hav it no other way!� he said smiling back and kissing me. We went into the room where I had gotten ready at while the reception was being set up. I went into the bath room to fix my make-up from all the crying when I notice a small white stick sitting on the counter with flashing words on the front.
“Hey , we don’t have very long!� he shouted from the room.
“I’ll be done in a second.� I picked up the stick, looked at it, and threw it away. I walked back in the room where was sitting in a chair waiting for me. I sat on his lap as he wrapped his arms around me.
“You’re all mine now!� he said, kissing my neck.
“Yeah, so is the little one.�

“I said the little one is yours too.� I smiled.
“You mean?� he said wide-eyed.
I nodded my heard and grinned.
“I’m going to be a daddy!!� he said, “Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Oh I’m so happy right now, this day could get any better!�
I laughed, “I just found out. I’ve been sick all morning, and picked me up a test. I took it before the wedding, but I didn’t have time to wait for the results.�

We got up and walked into the hall way and to the door where we would be presented as husband and wife and have the reception.
“I now present to you, Mr. and Mrs. !� we heard the DJ say as the doors swung open and we walked into the reception room where all our friends and family were sitting. We took our seats and let the festivities begin. We had our first dance, to a slower version of ‘Baby’s Coming Back’ that had re-recorded just for the wedding. I danced with my dad, and ’s dad. danced with his mom, and my mom. We did the traditional wedding games including when took my gaudier off my leg with his teeth, and the bouquet throwing, caught it. I told now he had to propose to her now, and he said he was planning to soon anyway. Basically the whole night went amazing. It was time for the best man and maid of honor speeches. was going first.
“ boy. I can’t believe you got hitched!� everyone laughed, “No, seriously. I’ve known you since I was 15 and I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend. You’re always there for me and you know I’m always here for you. I’m not going to go into a big heartfelt speech, but I just want to let you know that you and are perfect for eachother, and ?� he said looking at me, “Keep an eye on him! Make sure he stays out of trouble! Especially whe you come on tour with us all the time now, I don’t want to babysit him anymore!� I nodded and laughed, “Good luck you guys, in life, love, and everything else. I love you guys. I guess I’m going to have to ask you to babysit too when you’re on tour with them since I won’t be there to do it!� I laughed, “Anyways, and I got you a present. I love you guys. More than !� She laughed handing me an envelope. I opened it to find to plane tickets to the Bahamas. A place I have always wanted to go.

“ and I have an annoucement to make!� he said smiling. I caught on and grinned, and stood up next to him, “We found out some exciting news before the reception� he smilied. Everyone looked at us eagerly as I grabbed ’s hand.
“I’m pregnant!� I half-shouted, smiling like crazy. There was a look of shock that went across the guests, but then an eruption of applause and cheering soon followed. I looked at and she winked, and just smiled. My parents and ’s parents rushed over to us hugging us and talking about how excited they were to be grandparents.
This day had gone just as planned. Well, I guess they’re were a few surprises, but good ones. I was ready to start my life with the man I loved. I was going to a place I always wanted to, I was going to be a mommy with a man who was exstatic about the idea of being a daddy. This day was just too perfect.
