“Looking for those damn invitations! I know I have them somewhere! I found one of them, but I can’t find the rest!� he said.

The next afternoon, I was in the dress shop with my bridesmaids getting the final details and fittings done before the wedding. was complaining that she looked fat, which she didn’t what so ever.

After everyone was done getting fitted, we decided to go out to out for some drinks at a nearby restaurant. We got seated and everyone looked at me around the table.

“Amazing. The last couple months were really rough, but I think both of us realized that it was stupid and we need to move forward. We love each other too much.� I said smiling, “I mean, we have little tiffs, but other than that, it’s going great. Oh, did you guys get the invitations yet? I just need to make sure they got out.�
“Yeah, I have mine right here,� another bridesmaid, said, handing it over to me. I examined it closely, looking at the tuxedo and bridal gown on the front cover. We decided to have a simple invitation, and it was the only one we could agree on. I opened it up checking that everything was right.

I closed the invitation after seeing everything was correct and gave it back to . We ordered some drinks, and chatted for about an hour. My cell phone started ringing in my purse, and I excused myself to answer it.

“After your done, can you come down to the studio? Me and the guys have a surprise for you.� I could almost see him smiling from the other end of the phone.

“Now , let’s see your ring. Since you got a new one when you guys got back together again and everything. I haven’t seen it yet!� said grabbing for my hand. Her and gasped when they saw it. I must admit, it’s a beautiful ring, and I think outdid himself. I still couldn’t believe he got it for me. It was simple, but amazing at the same time. It was a silver band, with one diamond set in the center. On either side of the stone, there were two smaller diamonds set in the band with a cuff around it.
“, it’s gorgeous!� gushed.
“I know, I can’t believe got it for me. Especially after he already got me a one when he proposed.�
“I guess it was his way of saying sorry for being a complete jerk for the months following your engagement, huh?� said.

I searched in my purse and felt around for a velvet box. I pulled it out and opened it to show a simple silver band with five small diamonds set inside. I knew that liked things simple, so that’s why I got it. I had our names engraved on the inside, along with “Always & Forever�

“I hope so.� I said putting it back into my purse, “Do you guys mind if Kami and I leave right now? I have some more things to do today, and since I have to stop by the studio now,�

We arrived at the studio about twenty minutes later and got out of the car. As we walked into the lobby, I could hear the music through the walls. They must be recording something. I smiled at the front desk lady, Julia, and she waved me over.

“I’ve been busy planning the wedding.� I smiled.

“Oh come on ! You don’t look fat in the dress!� I said laughing.

“How do the other bridesmaids look?� said, nudging my side.
“They look amazing . And stop hitting on my friends!� I chuckled.
“Does the term ‘always a bridesmaid, never the bride’ apply to them?� said laughing.

“Well I had a couple more things to do,� I said wiping the tears away.

“I guess they can wait,� I said smiling. said goodbye to the guys, as I went over to .

“! What is that smell?!� I said running into the kitchen. I came in to find the oven spewing out clouds of smoke. “! What is this!�
“Shit! No! This can’t happen!� he said running in behind me.
“What’s going on?� I asked as he opened the oven, and pulled out what looked like a black mound of mud.
“Well I was trying to cook you dinner. That’s where I was when you got to the studio! I ran here to put it in the oven, and it should’ve been done by the time we got back here!� he said throwing it away into the trash, looking disappointed.
“Aww, hunny! It’s okay!� I said walking over to him, “It was sweet of you to do that!�
“Now it’s all ruined! I’m crap in the kitchen, I’m sorry.�

“Good. So what kind of takeout would you like then?� he said grabbing some takeout menus from the top drawer of the cabinets.

“Okay then, Chinese food it is!� he said grabbing the phone and ordering some dinner.
About two hours, and a bottle of wine later, and I were sitting on our couch with a bad case of the giggles and takeout boxes all around us.

“This kind!� I said standing up and turned some music on. I started swaying back and forth and went over to pull up. He shook his head, and I dropped his hand.

“The guy’s supposed to lead!� I said, giggling again, “Let me teach you!�

“Right� he said, as he did what I told him to. I started to shuffle my feet a bit and told him to do what I was doing. After a few minutes, he was starting to get the feeling of it.
“See? You can dance!� I said smiling.
“Only cause I have an amazing teacher.� He said kissing me.
“That’s just cause I have a good student.� I said kissing him back.
“What do you do to punish the bad students?� he said grinning.

“You have to do what I say for a whole night!� I said.
“Well in that case,� he stepped on my feet and danced like he was ten.

“You’re so cheesy.� I laughed.
“I know, but you love me anyways.�

“Good� he said lifting me up and carrying me and setting me on the bed.
“I tired!� I said going under the covers.
“Oh no you aren’t!� he said sitting on top of me.

“! What is that smell?!� I said running into the kitchen. I came in to find the oven spewing out clouds of smoke. “! What is this!�
“Shit! No! This can’t happen!� he said running in behind me.
“What’s going on?� I asked as he opened the oven, and pulled out what looked like a black mound of mud.
“Well I was trying to cook you dinner. That’s where I was when you got to the studio! I ran here to put it in the oven, and it should’ve been done by the time we got back here!� he said throwing it away into the trash, looking disappointed.
“Aww, hunny! It’s okay!� I said walking over to him, “It was sweet of you to do that!�
“Now it’s all ruined! I’m crap in the kitchen, I’m sorry.�

“Good. So what kind of takeout would you like then?� he said grabbing some takeout menus from the top drawer of the cabinets.

About two hours, and a bottle of wine later, and I were sitting on our couch with a bad case of the giggles and takeout boxes all around us.

“Right� he said, as he did what I told him to. I started to shuffle my feet a bit and told him to do what I was doing. After a few minutes, he was starting to get the feeling of it.

I sighed, turned the music off and ran after him. I walked in to find him sitting on the bed with a rose in his mouth. He walked over to me and dipped me towards the ground.
