McTweet for America:
On Friday, May 15, McFly fans and twitterers around the world will unite under one cause: bringing McFly to America. If you are an American fan or you support the idea of an American McFly tour, help our cause and participate! And remember, fans in any country can participate if they'd like to help! The more people we have behind the cause, the greater the impact we'll make!
We know people do this to their myspace all the time and now they no longer look at it, but this is different. Firstly, only the McFly guys and people that follow participators will be able to see it, so we wouldn't be clogging up anyone else's screens. Also, Tom did say that he reads all of his messages, even if it takes him a while. And for all you lovely doubters, we know they won't instantly clear their schedule and come to America. The goal of this is to simply get their attention and let them know we're a serious fan base that wants them to play here.
Rules of Participation:
1. May 15 applies to whatever time zone you're in, so we can maximize amount of tweets ;)
2. In each tweet, you must include an @ reply to one of the band members AND/OR the phrase "#mctweet"
3. We ask that you "mctweet" three times at minimum, simply so that we can have a huge movement going.
4. Try to be creative. Don't use the same "mctweet" more than once.
